About YGT Blankets
YGT (“You Got This!) - Blankets, an approved 501c3 nonprofit organization, was started by Nikki Hughes, a cancer survivor, and Nedra Singleton, a cancer supporter.
When Nikki told me she was facing breast cancer, I was so consumed with what I could do to help. Other than being encouraging and constantly reaching out to check on her, I wanted to physically do something for her. We are cousins, separated by only 2 days. Therefore, I felt if this could happen to her at 41, it could happen to me. I didn’t know what I could do other than pray and send her good vibes. So, I decided to send her a blanket of love. Not just any blanket, but the softest, warmest, and coziest blankets I could find.
Also, because Nikki lives in Illinois, I figured this was the warmest things I could do for her during her fight. I was amazed by her response to the blanket. She absolutely loved it!!!
As we talked about her ordeal, how much she so appreciated the blanket, and how wonderful it felt, we began to talk about how we could give them to others (men, women, and children) dealing with the living changing diagnosis of cancer. So our partnership, “You Got This (YGT) Blankets", was initiated. “YOU GOT THIS” are the actual words Nikki often uses to encourage others. What is so amazing is I didn’t know that when I suggested the name for our venture!!!
YGT works with blanket manufacturers to provide wonderful blankets to cancer warriors everywhere, FREE of charge, with just a simple donation of $15 to assist with postage and shipping materials!
Our blankets are coupled with words of encouragement from other cancer warriors and/or survivors. Blankets will also be distributed to oncology (cancer) treatment centers.

Unfilled requests will be reserved for 6 months.

YGT Goes Pink
We hate breast cancer. Many have lost family members and friends to this hideous disease and we have made it our mission to do be able to bring some comfort to those that are warriors of breast cancer ,also to those that are fighting this disease. Every 19 seconds, somewhere in the world, a woman is diagnosed with of breast cancer, a sobering statistic.

How will my donation to YGT be used?
ALL donations will be used to purchase "You Got This!" blankets for cancer warriors. Nikki and I will be responsible for shipping and distribution costs.
How will YGT blankets be distributed?
"You Got This!" blankets will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis to fulfill requests made through the “Request” link.
YGT blankets will also be distributed to oncology (cancer) treatment centers along with words of encouragement provided by survivors.
Are YGT blankets for cancer survivors?
At this time, we ask that requests be reserved for individuals currently fighting cancer. This is what we call our YGT Warriors!
May I request a YGT blanket be sent to a specific person with my donation?
Unfortunately, requests will be used to purchase YGT blankets to fulfill requests. This is to ensure that we are able to provide blankets to as many warriors as possible.
May I purchase a blanket for a loved one and/or friend?
If you would like to purchase a blanket for a loved one and/or friend, email info@ygtblankets.com for a link to our “Specialized Request” form.
May I request more than one YGT blanket?
Yes, but please remember YGT blankets are on a first come, first serve basis. However, you must complete a new form for each request.
